We couldn’t be more proud of Sid King on his induction into the Arkansas Broadcast Hall of Fame! Sid is not only a respected voice in our community but across the state.
We are deeply grateful for his continuous dedication and support of the Clinton School District. What an incredible honor—congratulations, Sid! 💛🐝
We are thrilled to announce that Clinton Elementary has been awarded a grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture's (USDA) Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program (FFVP) for the 2025-2026 school year. This grant will provide all our elementary students with a variety of free, fresh fruit and vegetable snacks throughout the
school day. The FFVP is designed to introduce children to a wide array of produce they might not have had
the opportunity to sample.
This creative and effective program helps to:
Encourage students to explore new, healthy foods.
Increase the overall consumption of fruits and vegetables among our students.
Create a healthier school environment and promote lifelong healthy eating habits.
Through this program, students at Clinton Elementary will receive a healthy snack of fresh
fruits or vegetables at least twice per week during non-meal times. Each snack will be
accompanied by bite-sized nutrition lessons to help our students learn about the importance of
healthy eating. The school plans to begin distributing these healthy snacks on October 1, 2025.
The program aligns with our school's commitment to student wellness and academic success.
We are excited to see our students discover new flavors and establish healthy relationships
with food.
About the Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program (FFVP)
The Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program is a federally funded program intended to increase fruit

Parents and Guardians,
We need your help to keep our students safe during morning drop-off. Recently, we have had several reports of vehicles driving the wrong way around the football field and cutting through the high school parking lot during restricted hours (7:15–8:00 AM).
🚫 Please do not enter through the HS parking lot between 7:15–8:00 AM.
✅ All morning traffic should turn up Cedar Street and come in behind the Junior High for drop-off.
This procedure is in place for the safety of all students. When cars drive the wrong way, they pass school buses with their red lights on — putting students at risk as they exit the bus.
Thank you for helping us keep everyone safe. Please share this reminder with anyone who may be dropping off your student.
