We kicked off back to school today at the Fairfield Bay Conference Center with our District Professional Development Day. Thank you to the Fairfield Bay Conference Center for an outstanding facility and service. The space, food, and service were all top notch! Huge thank you to our Door Prize sponsors, the door prizes kept the day fun with some big winners and lots of laughs. It was great to have the staff all back together. We are excited to be back and ready to kick off the 2025-2026 school year!

Missed Your Food Box Pickup? If you weren’t able to pick up your box, we’ll be available today from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM for pickup at the Clinton Elementary School Cafeteria dock, located at the back of the school. Please stop by during that time—we’d love to get your box to you!

The Clinton School District is pleased to announce the district will participate in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) during the 2025-2026 school year providing meals, regardless of eligibility, at NO CHARGE for all students at the Clinton School District participating in the School Breakfast Program or National School Lunch Program. This is made possible through the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Special Assistance Certification and Reimbursement Community Eligibility Provision. All adults, e.g., visitors, teachers, support staff members, and administrators of the district must assume the full cost of the meal which is $3 for Breakfast and
$4.75 for Lunch.

We are scheduling times for everyone to meet their teacher at once and hear all the details of the year. We have the following times scheduled for you to come:

5:00-5th grade 5:20-4th grade 5:40-3rd grade 6:00-Kindergarten 6:20-1st grade 6:40-2nd grade

If you can make our scheduled time, that would be great. If not, feel free to drop in anytime from 5:00-7:00.

We are excited to announce that the Clinton School District will be providing school supplies for all students for the 2025-2026 school year.

Upcoming dates of interest: July 28-31 -- Preschool office will be open from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Thursday, July 31--PK Open House from 5:00p.m. until 7:00 p.m.--PK teachers will be contacting parents by phone earlier in the week to give a personal invitation to their students and parents! Wednesday, August 6--First day of school for PK students! Drop off time is 7:30 a.m. until 8:00a.m. with students going in for breakfast as soon as they are dropped off! Classes start at 8:00 a.m. If you are interested in picking up an application before July 28 you can stop by the Clinton Elementary Office. Summer office hours are from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Monday -Thursday.

Just a reminder due to the new Arkansas Act "Bell to Bell No Cell", no cell phones or electronic devices will be allowed during school hours.

Happy 1st Birthday to our little Mookie! 🐾 Although Mookie has been enjoying his lazy summer at home, he is still working hard to become a certified Therapy Dog for Clinton Schools. He currently is enrolled in his second round of training and will hopefully pass his CGC Canine Good Citizen test soon. We look forward to meeting new students in August!

Jo Duncan was just named Arkansas Alternative Education Association Support Staff Member of the Year for the State of Arkansas at the annual conference in Fort Smith. Ms. Duncan is an integral part of our Alternative Education program, routinely going above and beyond in the classroom! We are proud to have her at CJHS!

Please help us welcome Ashley Flickinger to our Clinton School District Family. We are excited to have Mrs. Flickinger join us in our Agriculture Department.

Looking on the bright side this summer!!! Yellowjacket Arena is looking much brighter these days as we are replacing the lighting fixtures. The arena will not only be brighter but the light fixtures will be more energy efficient! This upgrade was made possible by a Department of Energy grant. Huge thank you to everyone for their hard work in making this upgrade possible.

Attention New Yellowjackets! If you are new to the Clinton School District for the 2025-2026 School Year please stop by the campus office your student will be attending to enroll. Office hours are Monday-Thursday 8am-3pm. We are excited to welcome you to the Clinton School District!

Save the date for the Yellowjacket Football Camp, July 24th. Work on improving football skills through drills and lessons from the Yellowjacket coaching staff and players.

As we get closer to the start of the 2025-2026 school year stay tuned for updates and news! The "Bell to Bell, No Cell Act" bans smartphone and other personal electronic device use in public schools, beginning in the 2025-2026 school year.
